Getting Started

Welcome to Inventoree! This guide will walk you through getting started with multi-platform inventory synchronization in just a few minutes.

What is Inventoree?

Inventoree is a real-time inventory synchronization platform that keeps your products in perfect sync across multiple sales channels (Shopify, eBay, and more) from a single unified dashboard. When a product sells on one platform, it’s automatically updated everywhere else within seconds.

Before You Begin

You’ll need:

  • An e-commerce account on at least one platform (Shopify or eBay)
  • A valid email address for account creation
  • 5-10 minutes to complete the setup

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Visit Inventoree.io and click Sign Up
  2. Enter your email address and create a secure password
  3. Verify your email address by clicking the link in the confirmation email
  4. You’re now logged in and ready to connect your platforms!

Step 2: Connect Your First Platform

Connecting Shopify

  1. From your dashboard, click Connect this will take you to the Shopify app store
  2. Install the app to the preferred Shopify store
  3. You’ll be redirected to Shopify’s authorization page
  4. Review the permissions and click Install to authorize Inventoree
  5. You’ll be redirected back to Inventoree confirming the connection

Connecting eBay

  1. Click Connect this will redirect you to eBay to login
  2. You’ll be redirected to eBay’s authorization page
  3. Log in with your eBay credentials
  4. Review and authorize the permissions
  5. You’ll be redirected back to Inventoree confirming the connection

Step 3: Map Your Products

Once you’ve connected your platforms, Inventoree will automatically detect your products.

  1. Go to the connected account in your dashboard
  2. You’ll see Fetch Products which will start fetching your products
  3. For each product, verify or create a SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) - a unique identifier
    • Inventoree can auto-generate SKUs if needed
    • Or manually set them for better organization
  4. Products with the same SKU across platforms will be synced together

You can update inventory in three ways:

  • From Inventoree: Edit quantities in the dashboard
  • From Your Platform: Update on Shopify/eBay and Inventoree syncs automatically

Troubleshooting

Products Not Syncing

Problem: Products connected but inventory not updating

Solution:

  1. Verify both products have the same SKU
  2. Confirm your Sync Settings are enabled
  3. Re-authorize the platform connection if needed

Missing Products

Section titled “Missing Products”

Problem: Expected products don’t appear in Inventoree

Solution:

  1. Products may take 30 seconds to appear initially
  2. Refresh your browser
